One of the Kind Bauhaus Staircase Chandelier.
Prague 2nd quarter of 20th century.
An Unique and Large Staircase Chandelier from the Bauhaus period, a sculptural construction with a metal central iron bar on which glass elements are arranged that can be rotated freely to create a spiral effect. The central bar is fixed at the base so that the structure can bear the weight and the top is fixed to the ceiling for stability. The height and position of the glass structure can be easily adjusted as needed using a steel plate welded to the central tube. See image. The light body is made of transparent, hand-bent borosilicate glass tubes, set with whiting and fixed to a steel brackets. The whole structure is equipped with some 40 vintage porcelain Edison 27 sockets. However the illumination of the sculptural structure can be modified with another light system with your electrician.
The photos are taken on the place of dismantling which lasted a week with the help of 2 mountain climbers who did a great job.

Together with the central staircase chandelier, the package includes the ceiling lamp from the director’s room and wall sconces, 22 of them.
Dimensions of the ceiling lamp: height approx. 130 cm, width approx. 80 cm, depth approx. 20 cm; Dimensions of each sconce: height approx. 50 cm, width approx. 36 cm, depth approx. 24 cm.
Signs of age and wear, scratches and abrasions, some residue. All glass parts in very good condition.
