Large Murano Glass Ceiling Lights by Carlo Nason for Mazzega, 1970s
Unusual large ceiling light or flushmount by Carlo Nason for Mazzega, circa 1970. Each composed of 30 massive wave shaped alternated sheets of glass clear and opalescent bluish colored.
The chandelier was ordered from famous Murano manufacturer Vetrerie Mazzega in early 1970s for a Cult Bar Restaurant in the Friuli, North of Italy. Number of unique 7 custom made pieces were made and possibly no more.
It has 18 light bulb fittings, nine in each row.
